Asif Peer pioneering innovation with Fintech & AI
Our Group CEO & MD, Asif Peer, took the Fintech stage at LEAP 2025 for a powerhouse panel on The Ever-Evolving World of Fintech Trends, moderated by Deepak Gupta, CTO & Vice President of Engineering at Cars24. Joined by industry leaders: Mahmood Qannati, Chief Marketing Officer at Al Salam Bank; Hany O. Soliman, Chief Growth & Development Officer at PayTabs; and Faisal Galaria, Non-Executive Director at Starling Bank they explored how FinTech continues to transform financial services. Asif shared insights on the profound impact of AI, blockchain, quantum computing, and RPA, while also addressing the challenges traditional financial institutions face in integrating fintech solutions. He emphasized strategies for overcoming these hurdles, focusing on the critical need for agility, adaptability, and innovation to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving fintech landscape.


Strengthening presence in KSA with strategic partnerships
Systems Arabia announced a series of strategic moves aimed at reinforcing its presence in Saudi Arabia. Among the highlights was the successful go-live of the Temenos Corporate Lending platform for The Arab Energy Fund (TAEF), formerly known as APICORP, a leading multilateral impact financial institution. This transformation involved migrating over 350 syndication contracts from the legacy Syndication Lending module to the advanced Temenos Corporate Lending platform, marking a significant leap forward in modernizing TAEF’s financial operations.


Additionally, Systems Arabia forged a strategic partnership with Maharah Human Resources Company, a top Saudi recruitment firm. This collaboration includes the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, with Financials and SCM modules, alongside the signing of an MoU for joint efforts in Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity services.
Collaborative dialogues & valuable connections
We were pleased to host an exclusive roundtable in collaboration with our long-standing partner, Microsoft, focused on "Innovating with Microsoft Copilot, Agents, and Digital Contact Centers." Held at our booth, the session brought together industry visionaries to explore the cutting-edge capabilities of intelligent contact centers, real-world AI applications, and transformative use cases. The dynamic discussion was led by our Systems experts Ali Jawad Khalid, Head of Growth - Microsoft and Farhan Umair, VP Biz Apps Delivery, along with leaders from Microsoft Middle East, including Ahmed Farouk, Business Group Lead - Middle East Cluster and Ammar Abuthuraya, Business Applications Regional GTM Manager.
We were also honored to welcome distinguished guests, including Shaza Khawaja, Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication; Ahmad Farooq, Ambassador at the Embassy of Pakistan; Abu Bakar, CEO of PSEB; P@SHA Chairman Sajjad Syed, and other influential industry leaders.
